Collaboration Opportunities

  • Corporate curation projects (e.g., curation of simulator and naturalistic driving data to link it with other studies)
  • State Transportation Data
    • Crash data and crash-related data (licensing, EMS, injury, roadway)
    • Other data that are linkable to crash (crime)
    • Customized analyses for states (crash statistics)

Sponsored Projects

CMISST faculty and staff have extensive expertise analyzing all types of data that CMISST curates. Sample CMISST analysis topics:

  • Quantifying the effects of vehicle and safety system content on crash/injury performance
  • Linking crash, EMS, and hospital datasets
  • Distributions of crash causation scenarios based on naturalistic driving data
  • Vehicle crash exposure with and without safety content
  • Quantifying driving/traveling behavior
  • Effects of roadway characteristics on crash occurrence/outcome
  • Prediction of population-based performance of ITS systems

Small-Scale Data Analysis

We offer small-scale data analysis for an hourly fee. Possible consulting tasks include:

  • Creating tables
  • Developing extracts of data
